Love?

It's interesting how the world works.

How when you don't care about someone, that person inevitably cares too much for you.

And how when you finally show care in return, that person has given up hope on you.

It takes a change for people to finally feel the worth of care.

But no matter how you see it, some people are just asking for it.

-

Why do we only grasp the true meaning of love only when it has gone away?

Why do we only come to realise that it may not have been a bad thing at that point in time?

You cannot say that love is not love if it can fade away.

Because it may not have faded, just forcefully oppressed.

We all ask for this torture, when we rather love then to be love.

But why such a trend, when plenty of people exclaim that they would much rather be loved more than they love the other?

Because nobody can help it, to love someone who doesn't feel the same way, to take for granted what has been given to them, naturally.

It is, perhaps, a vicious cycle.

=====

I walked a path, and found an ending; nothing.
