Wild Hogs [8.5/10]

Wild Hogs
Woody (John Travolta), Doug (Tim Allen), Bobby (Martin Lawrence), and Dudley (William H. Macy) are middle-aged suburbanite buddies stuck in a rut. Doug, a dentist, yearns for respect from his pre-teen son and everyone else in his life. Bobby is a henpecked husband and unhappy plumber. Computer programmer Dudley is a flop with the ladies. And Woody, who seemed to have it all, has just lost everything. Each weekend the foursome takes to the streets of Cincinnati on their motorcycles as the "Wild Hogs." With his world secretly falling apart, Woody hits on an idea: a "Wild Hogs" road trip to the Pacific Coast. Soon, the four are embarking on the adventure of their lives. But when they stumble upon a roadside dive in New Mexico filled with "real" bikers and raise the ire of Jack (Ray Liotta), who is the leader of the Del Fuegos, the Wild Hogs discover that they are in for a greater adventure than they expected, including a showdown in the sleepy New Mexico town of Madrid.

This movie will only be out on the 19th of April but thanks to a certain Mr Poh who had prior appointments, I got to watch it yesterday at HSBC's speacial preview screening. Thanks orh! =P

At first when I read the sypnosis, I thought, "4 middle aged men? Can't be anything spectacular..."

But hey I was wrong! Asides from a few typical lame jokes revolving around one of them who seems to always be in trouble, the show is pretty funny throughout! Thumbs up to all the cute and comical ideas they chance upon along the way and John Travolta's leadership qualities as well as their good acting. I'd give it a 8.5 out of 10. Go watch it please lol. =P

Hmm... Today, even my awfully mild-mannered collegue was pissed off with the horrid auntie. And I'm paraphrasing here but, "There's a limit to everything."

It appears that the evil auntie has been bullying our elderly male collegue and telling him to do work on behalf of another collegue who has taken leave today when our elderly male collegue already has so much work on his hands.

It's like she has to tell us to do things or she will feel uneasy. She already has both me and my other collegue doing so many things for her, still want to bother our male collegue. And the best part is that she has almost nothing to do as we see it, unless, as fate would have it, we always walk pass just when she is taking her break, like 20 times a day. Dots... Tsk... Terrible auntie. =.=

My other collegue even contemplates complaining to the big boss now, so it's no small matter. Sigh.. It always has to be, a certain scenerio, a certain character cast, a certain typical situation.

Same characters, same behaviors, only different names and different faces. the world is but a repeated event everywhere.
